Elect Bob Namnoum for Board of Finance

Bob is a 21-year Canton resident who spent 23 years teaching high school English in Granby before working for the Connecticut Education Association for 25 years. He started his civic service to the Town of Canton as a member of the Waste Transfer Committee, then went on to join the Energy Committee, which he has Chaired for the past 8 years. Leading the Energy Committee, he’s been central to the project of getting solar panels on as many town buildings and private houses as possible! With his background negotiating contracts, lobbying at the legislature, and educating obstreperous teenagers, we think he has a great set of skills and experience for Canton’s budget season.
