Elect Ali Barker for Board of Education

A former school social worker and mother of two recent Canton High School graduates, Ali is an active and engaged member of the Canton community.  She has served in many volunteer positions in Canton, including president of the CMS PTO and, most recently, president of Canton Friends for the Arts, where she helped lead the organization to expand its mission and grow financially.  With her children now in college, Ali hopes to use her experience as a parent and social worker to support Canton schools, and to be an advocate for those students who may not have a voice.  She will strive to keep existing policies or enact new ones to protect ALL students. She is excited to serve the Canton community and the school district in this new role.
